We invite you to join us on a thrilling day trip to Lavertezzo and Locarno, two hidden gems in Switzerland, where awe-inspiring nature and rich history await.

Our trip begins at Zurich Hauptbahnhof (HB), where we'll hop on a train and head towards the picturesque village of Lavertezzo. Get ready to be captivated by the breathtaking scenery as we explore the famous Römerbrücke (Roman Bridge) and soak in the beauty of the Verzasca Valley. 

After a delightful morning in Lavertezzo, we'll continue our adventure by train to Locarno, a charming town nestled on the shores of Lake Maggiore. Lose yourself in the enchanting alleys of the old town, marvel at the historical buildings, and embrace the Mediterranean vibes that Locarno has to offer. You'll have the opportunity to visit the vibrant Piazza Grande, where lively festivals and events take place regularly.

Throughout the day, there will be plenty of opportunities for group photos, relaxation by the riverside, and immersing yourself in the local culture. Don't forget to bring your picnic blankets and snacks for a delightful lunch in nature and your bathing suits for a refreshing dip in the river.

• There are no reductions for half fare, Seven25, GA Night, Interrail,...
• Due to SBB restrictions, there are only limited amounts of tickets (2) for people older than 25 years (i.e. born on or before 25.06.1998). We will contact you if it becomes a problem.

• Depending on the weather conditions, swimming in the river is quite dangerous. We might adapt the program slightly depending on the conditions.
