Do you want to try a different hiking experience? Let’s try out together bare feet hiking. 

This path starts in Gontenbad in the Canton of Appenzell and lead us to Jakobsbad.  the five-kilometer hiking trail leads over streams, fields, stones and other earth surfaces and the whole thing without socks and shoes. Together we can surprise our senses and enjoy the last days of beautiful autumn weather with wonderful scenery. After the approximately 2-hour hike, we will have (very) late lunch/early dinner together and then take the train back to Zurich.  

Meeting point: 

13:00 Zürich main train station. Meeting point (big clock). Our train leaves 13:09, so please be there on time.  

Together we will take the train to Gontenbad, where we do start our hike. 

We should be back in Zürich around 19:30. 

What to bring: 

-       Food/snacks and drinks for yourself 

-       Towel to dry your feet later. 

-       (and you won’t need good hiking shoes for this event :)
