Are you ready for a full day of fun in the French-speaking part of Switzerland? Our trip will take us to the picturesque city of Lausanne at the bank of Lac Leman.

In the afternoon we will have a wine tasting during which one may taste different local wines produced in the Lavaux vineyards. These wines are very special thanks to the specific microsphere of the region. UNESCO has honored this region with the esteemed title of World Cultural Heritage.

Itinerary:

• We will meet under the blue angel in the main hall of the main train station of Zurich at 08:10. We will be taking the 08:32 Zurich HB – 10:47 Lausanne train connection.
• 11:00 - 16:00 free time in Lausanne (maybe ESN Lausanne will show us around; still needs to be confirmed though). 

  Public transport in Lausanne is not included in the ticket – respectively, it is only included if one accompanies the organizers.

• Afterwards we will take the train 16:02 Lausanne – 16:10 Grandvaux and arrive at 16:20 at the venue.

• Finally, to get back to Zurich, we will take the train 18:45 Grandvaux – 21:28 Zurich HB.

The wine tasting includes a total of three glasses of local wines per person and some accompanying snacks. In case one wishes to eat or drink more, one carries the resulting extra costs.

If you do not wish to come to the wine tasting, and remain in Lausanne instead, reach out to us and we will offer you a discounted price (15 resp. 11CHF for people with an ESNcard). We would like to have you join us though:)
