Urania Star Observatory 

 

The Urania observatory is the oldest public observatory in Switzerland. It was built in 1907 and is managed by the public university of the canton of Zurich since 1936. An expert will explain you the stars and planets with the help of various astronomic instruments.


Moreover, the 51-m-tower in the city centre provides a beautiful view of the town and lake of Zurich as well as the Alps.

The tour takes place also in case of bad weather.

The tower is not heated - please dress up accordingly.
